Annual Retreat on 2 October

On 2 October 2024, the KIT Graduate School Cyber Security met for its annual retreat at raeume, Karlsruhe. We had a fun day of intensive conversations, sharing knowledge, and talking research, career, and everything in between.

The retreat started with a round table „Ask the Professor“, where the graduate students could ask experienced PIs about their career paths, their take on life in academia, their advice for the thesis defence and their passion for science.

The graduate students pitched their dissertation projects using visuals, exchanged their views and get to know each other’s projects better. The day concluded over dinner with a look into the future and plans for the next academic year. Members of the KIT Graduate School Cyber Security had the opportunity to contribute their own suggestions and wishes for the School’s qualification and networking programme.
